- _As HSE Consultant, you will be responsible for the management of H&S related audit and compliance actions - developing and embedding key controls to safe H&S operation and to ensure audit actions are reviewed, allocated and progressed to completion.

**Key Responsibilities**_
- Support, coach and mentor the Barclays operational teams and provide competent HSEQ advice
- Collation, analysis and dissemination of HSEQ information and statistics
- Leadership of the business’ Management System and Barclays Key Controls
- Ensure compliance with our certified Integrated Management System
- Implement and monitor an internal audit programme
- Lead on environmental compliance and Aspects & Impacts management
- Drive a consistent approach to HSEQ and collaborate with Operations Performance teams and central functions to embed ‘Stronger, Simpler, Close

**Professional and personal competencies/qualifications**_
- HSEQ experience in a matrix organisation
- Hard and soft Facilities Management experience
- Be able to be an active member of a team and collaborate successfully
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and third parties
- Proactive influencing skills at all levels of the business
- A passion for HSEQ and the ability to inspire a culture where HSEQ is an embedded part of everyday operations
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in occupational health and safety
