Activities Co-ordinator

Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of elderly residents in a care home. To interact by talking to them, taking them out and sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations etc.

Identify the needs of the collective group and individuals and taylor the activities to suit them.

Plan and organise an activities programme that will maintain interest and progression over a period of time.

Organise social, fundraising events and encourage involvement in the local community,

To complete written daily records of individuals participation in activities. Required: Genuine interest in working within a caring environment. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Team player. Willingness to participate in training programmes.

Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and barring service check.

Experience of working with the relevant client group.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
