**About the role**:
**Role responsibilities**:

- Preparing a wide variety of baked goods such as sourdough and yeasted breads, bagels, doughnuts, buns, focaccia and various viennoiserie.
- Follow recipes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality of products.
- Work to a production plan and schedule to ensure baked goods are supplied to the retail store on time.
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure that there are always adequate ingredients on hand.
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Good attention to detail and creativity.
- Organizing skills.
- Willingness to learn and input with new ideas.
- Collaborate with other bakers and team members to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve product quality and production processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
