**Are you an experienced Finance Analyst looking for a new and exciting role?**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Finance Analyst (FP&A) **to join our Business Partnering and Reporting team at Sovereign on a permanent basis. You'll be based from our head office in Basingstoke with the flexibility to combine remoteworking.

**The Role**

Reporting into our Head of FP&A, this is a versatile role within the Reporting function of our team. You'll be delivering regular reporting as well as supporting system and process improvements.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Delivering financial analysis and insight to the business, including monthly management reporting, budgets / forecasts and financial appraisals
- The creation, maintenance and production of an agile catalogue of reports to be used by a range of stakeholders, as well as responding to ad-hoc reporting requests
- Identifying and driving process improvements by analysing and interpreting data, trends and making comparative analyses
- Providing clear financial advice to key stakeholders of all levels in the business, being confident to scrutinise and challenge business information and assumptions

**What we need from you**

You'll have previous experience in a similar Financial Analyst role. You should be pro-active, logically minded and highly adaptable with excellent communication skills. Ideally, you should be Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and any transformation experiencewould be beneficial.
We're looking for someone who can:

- Build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders across the business
- Present financial reports clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Advise and influence key stakeholders of all levels in the business
- Proactively challenge, introducing new ideas to drive the progressive development of the business
- Demonstrate an advanced level of Excel and/or Power BI knowledge with the ability to create standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
