- Here at 23 Hart Street we provide over night short breaks for children, aged 8 - 18 with a learning disability. We provide the opportunity to development and learn in an enviroment that has its emphasis on fun.
- We are a specially built home, enabling us to create the perfect enviroment to entertain, interact with, and provide for all of our young peoples individual needs. We also love to be part of the community and reguarly take trips out.

- **About the role**
- As a Residential Support you will need to be able to communcate and intract at a variety of levels, you will be required to administer medication, carry out personal care, manual handling and at times address situations involving violence and aggression.
You will need to be able to work alone, and as a member of a team.
- You will be expected to key work young people and to maintain records as required, both on a PC and written,. Your role will involve working weekends and bank holidays, including sleep-in the home.
- **Key Requirements**
- We are looking for a person that can display a patient and resilient attitude, exceptional communication skills and who will work with compassion, positivity and bring some fun into this role.
- Ideally you will already have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, and experience of working in a similar setting, however if you have the right attributes and a passion for working with Children, we may be able to offer full training where you will gain your qualification within 2 years of appointment.
A level of flexibility will be needed, within this role, to meet the needs of our shift patterns including weekends and holidays.
