A full time Trainee Bookkeeper is required to join a modern, technology focused accounting and software company in Wirral. The Accountancy Partnership has been in business for 14 years and since that time has recruited a client base of more than 11,000.

**_Job Description_**

We are looking for an individual to join our bookkeeping department as a trainee with the goal of either becoming a fully proficient bookkeeper or going on to become a trainee accountant within the company.

**Duties will include**:

- Bookkeeping for our clients on various systems including Pandle, Xero, Sage, Excel
- VAT returns
- Accounts prep/tax if/when the bookkeeping work is quiet
- Periodically reviewing client’s records in Pandle to ensure they are accurate for the accountants
- Helping clients switch from their previous bookkeeping system to Pandle
- Pandle training sessions for new clients who request this service

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be thorough and accurate, producing a high quality of work with attention to detail.
- Must have a strong work ethic and desire to get the job done
- Must work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines
- Should be able to adapt and take on different responsibilities as and when it is required from them.
- Must be happy completing a wide variety of work from the sometimes tedious data input to more skilled areas of bookkeeping.
- Must be dependable, very trustworthy and conscientious

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
