**Responsibilities
Procurement**:
- Liaise with relevant functions to identify purchasing requirements and material specifications including assisting with selecting and integrating suitable contractors and vendors.
- Request quotes, raise and issue purchase orders for all relevant services and materials
- Liaise with contractors to establish lead times
- Ensure all purchases are received as expected, and the appropriate documentation is processed accordingly to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner
- Manage the approved supplier list on a rolling 2-year cycle and remove under performing or unnecessary vendors where appropriate
**Stock Management**:
- Responsible for stock management, liaising with Finance to ensure stock is managed appropriately
- Coordinate the sale of obsolete stock to brokers, asset management vendors or online direct sales through trading platforms as necessary
- Liaise with appropriate functions to ensure the development and implementation of lean systems for all relevant paperwork (including delivery notes) to enable correct submission and processing by Finance
- Liaise with Engineering to ensure control of physical stock and prevent uncontrolled stock shrinkage and/or write-offs
- Assist Finance with stock takes and reconciliations as required
- Ensure all appropriate consumables are stocked and purchased as appropriate, including refreshments, stationery, toiletries, office equipment & PPE
**Sales & Operation Planning**:
- Manage the planning function to ensure the availability of resources, materials, and products
- Collaborate with relevant functions to establish accurate forecasts to enable business and vendor planning for customer trials and system installations
- Ensure all documentation for shipping products and materials is correctly completed ensuring compliance with all necessary transport regulations
- Organise and manage waste collections, especially removing chemicals
**Business Support**:
- Book appropriate vehicle hire as required including ensuring the relevant documentation is completed by the appropriate staff member
- Provide facilities management support to the business including managing cleaning and maintenance
- Manage the booking of all staff travel and hotels
- Manage the import & export of goods ensuring compliance with relevant country customs processes
Having experience within procurement would be highly desirable, however strong administration with attention to detail an absolute must.
