**The Company**

At Quilter Financial Planning, we are delighted to be working with an exceptional financial planning business, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team, who will offer tailored financial planning advice, focusing on pensions and investments.

**The Role**

As a Financial Adviser you will be working closely with our clients, getting to know them on a personal level and working with them to help them meet their financial planning goals for the future.

Good listening skills are key to this role, as you will be required to have a clear understanding of your client’s lifestyle, personality, and goals for the future and what motivates your client to pursue those goals. Fully understanding the client’s currentcircumstances and attitude to risk, is key, as once determined your encouragement and expert advice will aid the client in achieving those future goals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Developing long lasting professional relationships with existing clients
- Offering ongoing service to existing clients
- Establishing a good working relationship with others within the company and always working as a team to strive to ensure you are delivering the best advice possible to ensure the clients experience is positive and informative
- Maintaining CPD to ensure the necessary training is being taken to sharpen skills, knowledge, and ideas

**Key Skills**
- Accomplished communications skills, both written and verbal form
- The ability to listen to your client, taking on board their goals and interests, to enable you to establish good working relationships and offer sound advice
- Excellent IT skills, confident use of Microsoft Office word, excel and outlook
- Confident to work independently with a good working appetite
- A positive worker, who represents the business and strives to uphold its values, which should be reflected in your client relationships and those with colleagues
- Self-growth and self-motivation. The want to grow with the business by maintaining training and working relationships and striving to bring in new business

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience offering financial planning advice
- Minimum Level 4 qualified.
- Excellent IT skills

**Benefits**
- Established client bank
- 6-month probationary period
- Pension offered following the 6-month probationary period
- 25 days holiday exclusive of bank holidays
- Mixture of both office work and working from home
- Starting salary of £40,000. Salary will be reviewed annually and adjusted accordingly in correlation with gross turnover
- Company shares option scheme negotiable following 12 months service
- IT setup and maintenance provided by the company
