Shop N Save is a renowned retail establishment that has been serving the Blantyre community with quality products for years. As the Shop Keeper Retail, you'll have the opportunity to shape the market position of this business, drive brand image development, and contribute to its continued success.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As the Shop Keeper Retail, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of the retail business, including:

- Defining the market position for the business and strategically determining product offerings.
- Forecasting demand, developing the brand image, and maintaining a strong presence in the market.
- Identifying short
- and long-term staffing, financial, and material requirements.
- Managing staff training, work allocation, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
- Providing comprehensive merchandise information to both staff and customers.
- Handling customer complaints and ensuring satisfactory resolution.
- Managing inventory levels, placing orders for new stock as needed.
- Maintaining accurate financial and operational records.
- Implementing security measures for the premises and overseeing compliance.
- Authorising payment for supplies and determining vending prices and credit terms.
- Ensuring merchandise quality and optimising advertising and display strategies.

**Qualifications**:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Proven 2 years’ experience in retail management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to forecast trends and demands.
- A customer-centric approach and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining financial records and inventory management.
