- Bird Aware Solent are looking for a **Ranger **to join its friendly and passionate team. Bird Aware Solent Rangers raise awareness of the importance of the overwintering coastal birds within the three Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and encourage responsible recreation on the Solent coast.- The focus of this role will be to enhance Bird Aware Solent’s outreach engagement by working alongside our Communications Lead to create relevant content for digital, broadcast and print media for a diverse audience. Platforms include social media channels, online engagement, website content, blogs, broadcast and print media and video creation. As well as creating content you will develop an understanding of which platforms on which we should be focusing our resources on.- Additionally, all rangers patrol the coast throughout the winter providing a positive and engaging presence with all user groups, including dog walkers. Therefore, the post holder must have excellent face-to-face communication skills and be especially confident in striking up good rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds to secure behaviour change. They must have a driving license and use of their own vehicle for work purpose.**What we can offer you**:
