A very exciting start up is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to come and join their super friendly and talented team. Due to growth they are looking for another Full Stack Engineer.

They're looking for someone with a strong general engineering mindset. You don't have to have experience with our tech stack, you don't have to have worked in a startup before - but you do love building things, and when you do make something it generallyworks and solves the problem at hand in an elegant and easy-to-understand way.

The tech used is.
Frontend: Typescript React Apollo Client
- Backend: Typescript Apollo Server NestJS Prisma + Postgres
- Infrastructure: Pulumi (Typescript). Github Actions AWS (Fargate + others)

They don't care if you went to university, if you have large gaps in your work history (who doesn't want to go travelling for a couple years?), or any other conventional signals of competence; they just care about what you can do and how you do it.

You'll be working closely with our CTO to help shape and build our platform - a list of things they've been doing recently to give you a flavour includes...

Architecting our platform. A question they've recently been working on is what technologies we should use to execute long-running hiring processes - a DIY solution, AWS Step functions or something more exotic? And once they've decided on a runtime what isthe modelling approach we should adopt? FSMs, Statecharts or something else?

Deploying our code. They use Pulumi to provision all of our infrastructure which runs on AWS. We have things set up but they do need to be maintained and augmented as we scale.
