Conferencing Assistant

Are you passionate about delivery exceptional customer service? MK Conferencing are looking to recruit a Conferencing Assistant to help with full life cycle of events from taking enquiries, producing quotes, setting up events, packing them down and then obtaining feedback from clients.
Key duties include:
- Prompt response to customer enquiries and ensuring resolution of such enquiries on all occasions;
- Ensuring administrative procedures are implemented, data is accurately entered into conferencing database and that all required paperwork is systematically filed;
- Assisting, as required, in setting up venues in readiness for events and resetting venues immediately after the events have finished;
- Processing sales leads from initial enquiry through to final decision. Preparing quotes, issuing to clients and obtaining final decision;
- Experience working as part of a team - essential
- Strong administrative ability - essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills - essential
- Excellent standard of computer literacy, specifically working with databases, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook - essential
- Experience in sales environment - desirable
- Experience in event management environment - desirable
This is a full-time role and will involve some evenings and Saturday work.
**Please note this is a fixed term contract until December 2023.**
**Salary**: £20,500.00-£21,500.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
