Bicycle Mechanic

**Who we are.**

Pedal & Post has over a decade in the logistics and transport industry and specalises in cycle logistics, using cargo bikes to make deliveries around cities

To keep our fleet of cargo bikes on the road we have a team of in house mechanics and workshop which we're expanding as the business grows

Rapid growth in the ultra low emission logistics industry has caught up with our own ambitious expansion plans

**What you’ll be doing.**

Our workshops are private and work on an appointment only basis. All of the bikes you'll be working on will either be 2 wheeled cargo bikes, 3 wheeled eTrikes or 4 wheeled quadricycles, building relationships with the team of couriers/riders to support them with breakdowns, preventative maintenance and fleet improvements and upgrades, You wont have to work with customers and only our internal team

We are still building out our workshop however have made leaps and bounds, you'll be provided with a laptop and offer of a company mobile so you can use the latest electric bike diagnostic software (largely hienzman icargo system). You’ll be responsible for all aspects of electric bikes, inspection, diagnosis and repair with full manufacturer parts and back office technical support all in-house.

The minimum skills we need;
- Working knowledge of top tier e-bike drive systems from Bosch, Brose, Shimano, hienzman or a level of electrical knowledge gained through other industry experience
- Outstanding punctuality and reliability with an ability to manage your own hours and be adaptable to the support the riders require

Desired/bonus skills;
- Ability to inspect, diagnose, repair and problem solve in a time pressured environment as riders have set times they have to deliver parcels
