**Position: Control Panel Builder**

**Location: Bury, Greater Manchester**

Parkland International has been producing high quality equipment for the UK and Global Converting markets for 50 years. Based in Bury, Greater Manchester UK, the company specialises in a range of products for the processing and cutting of paper, plastic and/or composite tubes (Cores). **The Role**:
An independent, proactive and organised Engineer is required with excellent attention to detail. A dependable and strong team player with ambition and capability of handling multiple projects. You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work unsupervised and on own initiative.

In conjunction with our commissioning and build engineers you will be part of a team responsible for the final build, commissioning, testing and acceptance of contractual orders.

**Key Skills**:

- To work & become part of an established, skilled Engineering team to assist with the Company’s growth plans.
- Must be able to identify, handle & process the electrical components used in the construction & equipping of electrical control panels & machinery.
- Have a full understanding of wiring complex small & large control panels & systems for various automation systems.
- Must be able to read & implement complex instructions from technical project documents.
- Must be able to mark out, mechanically cut/drill & assemble electrical control panels & sub-assemblies to assembly drawings.
- Be able to electrically equip & connect various types of automation machinery.
- Plan, organise and manage work in conjunction with the Engineers and production team to meet required timescales.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision.
- Solid fault finding ability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Eligible to work in the UK with full UK driving licence.
- Experienced in electrical wiring of control panels & machine control systems.
- Preferably a 'Time Served' electrical panel builder with a sound understanding of mechanical systems.

**Benefits**:

- Salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per annum (dependent upon experience/qualifications).
