**How we work**

We believe that teams work better when they have time to collaborate and space to get things done. We call it Zego Hybrid.

It’s not “hybrid working” as you might know it - we don’t ask you to work from the office on set days. It’s a flexible approach that allows every Zegon to be their best.

Home can still be your primary place of work, with team days and events at our central London office when we need to get together. We cover the costs for all company-wide events (3 per year), and provide a separate hybrid contribution to help pay towards travel costs for our monthly pizza socials and other team get-togethers.

We think it’s a good mix of collaborative face time and flexible home-working, setting us up to achieve that right balance between work and life.

**Who we’re looking for**

We are growing our Claims department and we are looking for a bright and talented **Claims bulk payment and reconciliation handler to join our team**

The Claims bulk payment and reconciliation handler will be responsible for undertaking daily and monthly reconciliations ensuring all payments made from our case management system are accurate.

**What you’ll be working on**:

- You will be accountable for ensuring that our claims financial processes are robust and accurate
- You will lead and support the monitoring and development of our claims financial processes
- You will be responsible for completing recovery reconciliations, highlighting any variances, and resolving these through active liaison with the relevant teams and external contracts
- You will be the key stakeholder between the claims team and the finance
- You will ensure that all supplier bulk payments are validated and paid and be the point of contact for any discrepancies
- You will be required to assist with the testing of new processes and procedures and produce training material and guidance documents
- You will be responsible for using daily reports to complete reconciliations
- You will be responsible for using the daily reports to prepare monthly reconciliation reports
- You will complete calculations, analyse data, identifying following up on any discrepancies
- You will build a comprehensive knowledge of our products so that you can answer questions effectively
- Resolve complex customer queries and issues to meet customer and business requirements
- Organise, control and deliver specific clerical/administrative activities and services under guidance from supervisor/manager
- Lead and motivate any assigned staff within defined parameters, ensure they deliver their responsibilities effectively
- Control small projects under general guidance ensuring delivery of project outputs according to plan, reviewing and refining plans as necessary
- Provide administrative support to meetings to ensure they run smoothly
- Keep up to date with relevant developments to develop own capabilities and improve the services provided
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements relevant to the role. Support and promote compliance with those requirements within the role and the business

**What you will need to be successful**:

- Substantial relevant clerical/administrative/claims finance experience
- Likely to possess specialist knowledge in relation to administrative/business support activities in the relevant area
- The relevant specialist knowledge of procedures in relation to financial reconciliation processes
- You have the ability to undertake a full range of mathematical calculations/activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills verbal and written.
- You have an eye for detail and a flair for building rapport
- You have the ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
