**Role Description**:
**About the Role**

As part of the Administrative Support Team, you will provide first-class administrative support to Heads of academic Centres. This role also supports members of faculty contained within the academic Centres.

You will often act as a main point of contact for the Heads of Centre, and support academics with a range of matters, including liaising with partner institutions and commercial clients and generally supporting and independently resolving a range of queries and matters that may arise as support to the Centres. Activities include preparing for meetings, conferences and events, organising logistics and diary requirements as well as providing assistance to academic, commercial and ad-hoc administrative functions.

The role will be varied and you will bring a proactive approach to managing requests and supporting the smooth running of the Centres across a range of administrative and business support areas, including developing new processes within the Centre. It is essential that you are self-motivated and proactive, capable of taking responsibility at a high level with the minimum of guidance and able to make decisions on your own, and to maintain high levels of efficiency and professionalism at all times.

**About You**

You will be educated to A level standard (or equivalent) with experience in an administrative role. You will have experience of servicing committees (e.g. preparing agendas, papers and minutes), effectiveness in prioritisation, and time management. You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
