**Grade / Salary - ME13 - £42,795 - £45,834 per annum inclusive**

This is an additional Civil Contingencies Advisors role to work alongside an experienced existing Advisor. This role will support Merton’s work delivering and further developing the Council’s Emergency Planning and Business Continuity arrangements. A strong background and experience in both areas is required as is a willingness to attend the Civic Centre and be available to support the borough in responding to any major/critical incidents. You will support the Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Manager in reviewing and updating plans, policies and procedures, delivering the organisational resilience programme and providing specialist advice, guidance and support to other services across the council. A key function will be advising on business continuity responsibilities and establishing a culture where resilience is seen as everybody’s business.
