**GENERAL SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Operations lead, the Technical Planner is responsible for the Detailed Planning + Scheduling of Product assembly & Component completion, in line with order requirements.

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**
- Planning of Assembly start and completion, inspection activities to meet customer requirements.
- Use SAP Planning software to Schedule manufacturing Work in line with order requirements to meet Customer ‘on time delivery’ dates.
- Daily review of Schedule progress with regards to component delivery liaising with purchasing on exception items.
- Daily review of manufacturing activities liaising with manufacturing facility
- Manage NCR’s as required.
- Manage release of materials for subcontract process including liaising with shipping team.
- Working closely with production team and project managers developing and communicating production plans that ensure customer commitments are recognised.
- Expediting as required.
- Attend project meetings to provide updates against schedule and issues as applicable.
- Manage inspection dates between manufacturing site and project team.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- A comprehensive understanding of MRP planning and scheduling, preferably using SAP software
- Good Mechanical engineering background - preferred but not essential
- Highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Microsoft office skills

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- Similar industry working environment is highly desirable
