**Hours**:Part-time Tues to Fri 9.30 to 4.00.**
**Salary**:£23,400 Pro Rata. £12 per hour**

**Job Summary**:
The Receptionist and Administrator at Contact Morpeth Mental Health Group will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Charity. They are the first point of contact for service users and visitors, providing a welcoming and supportive environment, while also managing various administrative tasks to assist in the day-to-day functioning of the charity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reception and Service User Support**
- Greet and welcome service users, visitors, volunteers and staff in a friendly and compassionate manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Provide information, assistance and support to service users accessing our services.
- Manage sign-in and sign-out procedures for service users, visitors, volunteers and staff.
**Administrative Tasks**
- Assist in maintaining and organising physical and electronic files.
- Provide general administrative support, such as photocopying, filing etc.
- Manage the coordination and scheduling of meetings and appointments.
- Assist in coordinating the arrival and departure of service users for counselling, activities and therapy sessions.
- Carryout data entry and record-keeping tasks, maintaining organised and up-to-date service user records, ensuring strict confidentiality, ensuring the security and privacy of sensitive information.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents, as required.
- Maintain office stationary and order new supplies when necessary.
- Assist in organising and coordinating activities, events and workshops related to Mental Ill Health and Fundraising.
**Office Maintenance**
- Keep the reception area, rooms, and common areas clean and organised.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed promptly.
**Collaboration**
- Work closely with other staff members, volunteers and trustees to provide support and maintain efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with service users, staff, volunteers and trustees to ensure a harmonious work environment.
**General**
- Take part in internal meetings, training and development, as required and as identified.
- Assist in marketing activities and raising awareness of the aims and objectives of the organisation.
- Handle sensitive information, always maintaining confidentiality, observe Data Protection, GDPR and associated policies / guidelines where appropriate.
- Carry out any other duties in comparatively unstructured situations and respond quickly to changing needs and circumstances.

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
