Factory Labourer

Our manufacturing Client based in Aylesford; Kent is looking for two **Factory Labourers** for 2 + weeks maybe longer - **immediate start.**

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm (37.5 hour week)

Having your own STC boots or shoes is essentials a **Factory Labourer** you will work within a small production team - the role will involve heavy lifting.

**Duties**:

- Lifting and moving heavy materials (50-75 lbs. or 100 lbs. or more) throughout the facility
- Operating equipment such as a saw, drill press, and other hand tools
- Removing nails, staples, and other items from wood
- Preparing lumber for production
- Preparing lumber for production
- Preparing the shop for cleaning
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. throughout the day
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours continuously throughout the day
- Must be able to bend at waist with hands and wrists frequently throughout the day
- Must be able to use power tools safely and effectively with proper safety measures.
