Electrical Design Engineers - Blackburn, Lancs - £41,600 plus overtime and bonus (circa £50,000 package) plus superb benefits

Leading Engineering company urgently requires a Electrical Design Engineers with experienced in specification and design of machine control systems and in design & specification of PLC and Drive control systems (Allen Bradley/Siemens/Omron), preferably withexperience of AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical experience preferable but not essential) and a'Time Served' Electrical Engineer with a sound understanding of mechanical systems, a HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and ideally withknowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be required to interpret customer specifications and requirements leading to production of detailed functional design specifications, must be able to undertake all aspects of electrical design for machines and systemsincluding conceptual design, detailed design and production of detailed drawings, be able to produce electrical Schematic Diagrams & General Arrangements using AutoCAD, can produce all aspects of design documentation to facilitate material procurement, electricalassembly and machine wiring, have the ability to calculate and specify control gear, inverter drive and motor sizes and design and implement machine interface systems to include Ethernet IP, Profinet/Profisafe, EtherCAT, Profibus, Devicenet & DSI Communicationsprotocols. You must be able to design in accordance with current Machinery Directives & Safety standards, including Risk Assessments, produce all necessary current legislative documentation, generate 'Design, Operation and Maintenance' documentation, ableto specify and purchase parts from approved suppliers and provide customer support and training as required.

Working hours are Mon - Thu - 7am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am-12pm plus 12 hours available overtime pw, and the benefits include 10% bonus, 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 with long service) plus BH, a further 5 days holiday can be purchased via the existingovertime exchange scheme, Sovereign Healthcare package, pension, optional monthly JD gym membership plus more.

You must be prepared to travel both in the UK & Worldwide and hold a UK driving license and valid Passport.
