Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing business, is looking for a Head of People who will report in to the MD, in a standalone role. The purpose of the role will be to develop a robust and sustainable people strategy to fuel growth, the responsibilities will include development of a TA strategy, coaching and mentoring of the SLT enabling them to create of culture of high performance and accountability.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with managers and employees, promoting a culture of open communication.
- Taking overall responsibility for all recruitment activity, supporting line managers with resource planning, attraction and coaching on interview processes, through to ensuring employees are onboarded in a manner that supports future engagement and success, positioning them as an Employer of Choice.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for employee relations, disciplinary and grievances.
- Implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
- Overseeing the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance feedback and development plans. Implementing and managing a performance improvement plan process when necessary.
- Identifying training needs and developing employee development programs, tracking employees' skills and process through the training matrix.
- Administering employee benefit programs, staying updated on industry standards and trends to recommend improvements in compensation and benefits packages.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
