We have an **exciting** opportunity for an experienced leader to join our fast-paced Technical Services department.

You will lead and support our planning and scheduling team and promote a positive, productive environment. Our planning and scheduling team will be supporting our Field Service Engineers by taking ownership of organising the planned maintenance activities and allocating reactive work for medical equipment systems.

**Here is what you can expect to be doing**:

- Be accountable for conducting regular 121’s with your team members and conducting team meetings
- Work closely with the management team to establish new processes, systems and central capacity planning for our Field Service Engineers
- Develop an understanding of customer requirements, products and skill set of engineers to allow for effective decision making when planning and scheduling work
- Monitor reactive requests, completion rates and job overruns
- Ensure the planning and scheduling meets the needs of the customers and our contracted service level agreements
- Assist the team to ensure that key performance indicators are met for our UK customers
- Manage the team’s performance in line with targets, team vision and company standards.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Good standard of education
- Proven experience of managing a team within the field service environment
- Have the ability to provide clear support, guidance and direction to team members
- Experience of planning and scheduling
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Be a team player with the ability to prioritise workloads and work unsupervised
- Good organisation and planning skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
