Material Handler

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Materials Handler to work within our clients Warehouse / Stores Department in the Caerphilly area.
**Hours of work:
**This role is working a 2 shift rotation Monday - Friday. Days - 06:00am - 14:00pm & Afternoons - 14:00pm - 22:00pm. Overtime also available.
**Responsibilities**:

- Removing finished product from production and to correct location in the dispatch department.
- Ensure the stock is rotated using the FIFO system (First in last out)
- Return any unwanted materials from production into the Stores Dept
- Assist within the goods in department and any other areas when required to meet the requirements of the business.
- Frequently delivering correct materials to the production areas.
- Driving a fork lift truck on site.
- Carry out inventory / stock checks.
- Comply with paperwork requirements for the area; this includes (but is not limited to: Production paperwork, Training Records, In-Process Checks).
- To contribute fully to any improvements / changes / projects that are being considered / implemented.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Previous Stores / Warehouse experience is essential for this role.
- Able to use MS Office & competent using IT systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
- Hold an in date RTITB Counterbalance accredited fork lift license
