Are you looking for a new challenge in the world of HR?Our client is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to join them for a 12 month contract. This role is paying £35,333 to £42,155 per annum and offers hybrid working, the expectation is for to youto be in the office 2 days a week, however you can present more if you wish This is a full time role and comes with a extensive benefit package.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR generalist with solid employee relations experience to work as part of a flexible HR Business Partnering team. The client is embarking upon a period of significant change and they will be actively involvedin organisational change management, experience is therefore essential.

They will be responsible for providing support for all operational business partnering services, providing advice and guidance to line managers on a range of HR management issues ensuring compliance with the academic lifecycle, HR policies, employment lawand current HR best practice. They will manage a range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, capability and grievance cases and will support the development and review of policies, procedures and initiatives across the Service. A key functionof the role is to develop the skill and capacity of managers to empower them to manage people issues effectively and independently.

The role will require a combination of HR experience and expertise, as well as interpersonal and technical skills, and the ability to establish credible relationships with a diverse range of people. Demonstrable skills and experience at either HR Adviseror Associate level in a large, complex, and regulated environment is essential.

Build and maintain effective HR business partnering relationships across client areas, developing a working understanding of the work they do so that HR are aligned and support the development of an engaged and high performing workforce
Ensure the provision of high quality, consistent, robust, proactive and prompt advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with the lifecycle, HR policies, employment law & current HR best practice.
Guide & support managers with undertaking investigations, preparation of investigation reports and evidence and assistance at hearings, ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment legislation and the proactive management of casework in a timely mannerand maintaining comprehensive records.
Provide HR advice on employee relations casework such as discipline, grievance, performance and dignity at work, using sound judgement on when to seek advice from or escalation to the HR BP..
Work with the HR BPs to nurture a performance management culture within designated client areas, ensuring appraisals have been carried out and linking in with specialist HR colleagues to promote and facilitate the implementation of organisational developmentinitiatives.
To deputise for HR BPs when needed.
