**A&P Falmouth - Quality Control Inspector**

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team our A&P Shipyard in Falmouth within the quality and safety team.

Making a real difference in the marine industry this critical role works closely with Engineering and Project / Ship Managers as well as site-based contractors to make sure that we are consistently delivering work to our customers standards.

**So as a Quality Control Inspector at A&P Group, what will you do?**
- You'll ensure consistent quality of engineering, outfitting and other work carried out on site in accordance with shipyard and customer required standards
- Conducting thorough inspections, you'll ensure that work adheres to established quality control procedures and industry standards.
- Assisting with maintaining the company Quality Management System you'll be writing accurate and detailed reports and records of inspections and test results
- You'll read project work specifications and take part in quality control meetings, customer reviews, continuous improvement sessions and provide input for process improvements then produce reports when needed
- Reviewing quality requirements for Projects and you'll correlate in Master Project Spreadsheets

- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality issues
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a similar industry
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Knowledge of quality control standards and regulations relevant to the industry
- Commitment to safety and quality excellence
