Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. Monday-Friday, 9/10am-5:30pm.You will be responsible for providing a professional grooming services to our canine clients to a high standard. This role requires a strong passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle animals with care and patience.

**Duties**:

- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming to a high standard according to client preferences and the dog's welfare needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Handle and restrain animals in a calm and gentle manner
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Provide basic health checks and report any abnormalities or concerns to pet owners
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and any special requests or instructions from pet owners

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 18 months professional grooming experience
- A level 3 qualification in dog grooming is preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds, their specific grooming needs, and breed standard grooming
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and ability to handle animals with care and patience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., dogs) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of veterinary care and ability to identify common health issues in pets

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
