Network Engineer

**Freelance Network Engineer**

**Contract length: 12 Month Contract + extensions**

**Day rate: Negotiable depending on experience**

**Location: Belgium, Roeselare, 2 Days On site**

**Start date: ASAP**

**Must Speak both English and Dutch**

A Belgium IT Consultancy is looking for Network Engineer to work with publishing and media end client of theirs They are looking for a Freelance Network Engineer to take on the daily management of the network.

**Description knowledge domain and activities**:
**Firewalls: high stick at checkpoint**
- Modifying and creating rules, objects, vlan interfaces, zones, Ipsec tunnels, config general
- Modifying and creating rules, objects, vlans, IPS, config general

**DNS and dhcp**:

- Control DNS and DHCP
- Manage public domains and DNS records and manage certificates

**Lan Switching and Wifi**

HP and Nortel/Avaya switching management and configuration via cli and HP IMC

Cabling and patching network nodes

Config and manage Aruba wi-fi APs with aruba central and (airwave)

**Mailrelays**

Management and configuration of Ironport cloud and on premise C100V

**VPN: Fortigate en Ivanti connect secure**

Management and configuration: Forticlient and Fortigate, Ivanti pulse secure

**Monitoring**
- Configuration PRTG

**Troubleshooting / interpretation logging of all devices**

**Interview Process**
- 2 Stages
- 1st With Hiring manager
- 2nd With End Client
