About the role **Immediate start**

We are currently seeking a skilled Tiler/Multi-Trader to complete making good and maintenance works within properties across London (Central London and South East). As well as tiling projects in places such as bathrooms and kitchens.

We want a skilled, conscientious, and friendly Tiler/Multi-trade general builder who is self-motivated, fit, clean, hardworking, and keen to work to the highest standard. Ideally, you will have City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications or will be qualified by experience and have a clean driving license.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am to 5pm - Including Travelling Time

You must be reliable, trustworthy, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent communication skills and fantastic attention to detail.

**Before applying, please ensure you fulfil the following criteria**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of tiling in both domestic and commercial environments
- Attention to detail and good finishing
- Phone literate and can use a job sheet system to communicate job status and completion/PDA
- Clean UK Driver’s License
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Social housing experience (not essential)
- Up-to-date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Please note that this role may require a DBS Check.

**Duties include**:

- Repair or remove old tiles and surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
- Mark out area to estimate the amount of tiles and adhesive needed, along with cutting tiles to size and shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools
- Reactive maintenance repairs (social housing)
- Expected to carry out day-to-day reactive maintenance
- Problem-solving, diagnosing and repair
- Making safe and achieving first-time fix

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
