**Job description**

We are looking for an Administrator who will:
Oversee office operations and office staff members. The administrator will hire, train, and evaluate our team members, develop, review, and improve policies, systems, and procedures; and generally, ensure the team operates smoothly and efficiently. You should be analytical, knowledgeable, and organised with a proactive attitude and have strong leadership skills.
You must have proven experience working in an administrative role, ideally experience of working within diverse environments and/or experience in the charity/third sector.

**Administrative responsibilities are**:

- You will support our Directors and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- Support and maximise all fundraising initiatives
- You are required to be able to use your organisational skills to manage your time٫ as you will collaborate with our partners, clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be highly organised, and professional.
- Hiring, training, and evaluating employees and volunteers and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures and generally, ensure the team operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
- Collecting, organizing, and storing information.
- Overseeing OPH projects, fundraising events and tracking progress towards company goals.
- Building and expanding on skills by engaging in educational opportunities.
- You must have proven 3+ years' experience working in an administrative role, ideally experience of working within the charity/third sector
- Experience of continuous improvement of administration systems and the creation of new processes.
- Attracting and retaining OPH partnerships and streamlining office operations to maximize quality and efficiency while reducing costs.
- You should be analytical, knowledgeable, and organized with a proactive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Arrange meetings and attend them to take detailed minutes-- shorthand required to do this
- Perform travel arrangements and reservations for senior Directors
- Review and organize regular correspondence٫ like invitations and informative material
- Produce spreadsheets٫ reports, documents, briefing papers, project reports, monitoring forms, presentations, statistical and budget reports
- Provide general support to OPH members.
- Attendance to activities if requested
- Assist with the formatting of our quarterly newsletter to our supporters.
- Ensuring all records are maintained and are in accordance with GDPR requirements, including information across our customer relationship management (CRM), Newsletter Service, and Google Drive System

The position is a hybrid position. You will be required to be in the office when needed. Also at OPH workshops and events as well as working remotely.

Probation Period: 3 months

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: Up to £11.57 per hour
