**Position Title**: Electrical Operative

**Location**: Paneltex, Hull Somerden Road

**Hours of work**: 40 hours per week - Mon-Thur 0800-1700 / Fri 0800-2.30

**Salary**: Up to £11 per hour

**Other Benefits**: Equivalent of 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), Contributory pension scheme & Life Assurance cover.

**Job Overview**

To install various electrical wiring box bodies and /or chassis. including reversing, CCTV, data logging and tracking cables. This will also include lights, central locking and others.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Running cables and securing with the correct method which will involve removing and replacing various parts.
- Reading and interpreting design drawings.
- Using a variety of hand-held power tools
- Refitting parts to required QA standards
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork in line with QA standards
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Good Health and Safety knowledge.
- Have an understanding of electrics and electrical diagrams.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrics and systems is an advantage.
- Must be organised and take pride in their work.
- Must have the ability to learn new skills.
- Practical with a high attention to detail.
- Good team player and excellent communicator.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Punctual and reliable
