Till Operator

We are looking for a till operator to work in our Launceston Store. We are after someone that is multi skilled and able to adapt to whatever role they are put in. A good knowledge of gardening would be helpful but not essential.

The job is full time and will include weekend days.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use of the till.
- Dealing with customer queries either in person or by telephone.
- Use of electronic scanners for labelling, stock replenishment.
- Aiding other areas of the garden centre in other jobs.
- Use of a radio to communicate effectively with other members of staff.

The following skills and qualifications would be beneficial but not essential:

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
- First Aid
- Previous experience in a similar role

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 42.5 per week
