Due to sustained growth and expansion plan we are looking for a highly accurate, detailed, and methodical Freelance Technical Surveyor to join our friendly team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Attending customer appointments, confirming appropriate system and design options, and conducting comprehensive technical surveys to determine accurate manufacturing specification and sizes for all replacement windows and doors required, along with detailed ancillary item requirements (i.e. silicones, trims, etc.).
- Recording all information correctly and thoroughly onto the required (digital) documents, and inputting data into systems as required to maintain accurate records.
- Liaising with the Customer Service Coordinators regarding any alterations to specification and price prior to the digital Contract of Sale being drawn up.
- Transposing details to supplier order forms following receipt of signed Contract of Sale and deposit payment (until new systems and processes come into effect).
- Taking a proactive approach in terms of identifying and mitigating potential site or installation challenges. Liaising with the Installation Manager, Installation Team, and customer to efficiently overcome any unforeseen challenges where necessary.
- Assisting the Installation Manager with procurement coordination and checking of goods delivered against requirements where required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across the board.
- Enthusiastic and methodical approach to working and learning.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and instinctively takes responsibility and ownership of tasks and problem-solving.
- Inherently organised and pro-active.
- A minimum of 3 years’ fenestration surveying experience, with strong technical knowledge and capability (experience of all aspects of fitting replacement windows and doors is essential).
- Expert knowledge of current building regulations, with the requirement to keep abreast of the latest industry developments.
- An honest, confident, and clear communicator with demonstrable verbal and written skills.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Computer literate and proficient with standard software. An iPad will be provided for use at appointments. Prior use of CRM systems and apps like Notability desirable.
- A valid UK driving licence and a willingness to travel is essential. A company vehicle will be provided to travel to and from technical survey appointments.
