An exciting niche role has evolved to serve our growing sister companies.

Fully working from home, reporting directly to the Managing Director and Senior Managers, your role will encompass a mix of accounting and HR responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**
- All basic bookkeeping duties using Xero software
- Ensure sales and purchase payments are completed efficiently
- Reconcile supplier account statements, receipts and invoices
- Deal with client and supplier account queries
- Support in the development of accounts and HR strategy
- Manage holiday requests, sick leave, and daily queries
- Prepare contracts and offer letters, supporting the processing of joiners and leavers
- Draft letters related to discipline, grievance, absence, maternity etc
- Organise staff files, maintain employees’ records, update documents etc
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, manuals, folders, induction, Toolbox Talks etc
- Assist with other ad hoc duties within the accounts and HR departments

**Requirements**:

- Experience using Xero and Excel (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience (essential)
- Aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Be self-motivated and capable of independent working
- Confident in speaking with clients, suppliers and internal personnel
- Reasonable understanding of VAT
- An awareness of employment law
- As your role will be fully working from home, access to a quiet working environment and a reliable broadband service are imperative prerequisites.

Our standard working week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
