Are you a team player and have a passion to care for children? We provide wraparound care for seven schools around Hebburn and Jarrow. We also offer holiday club throughout half term holidays. We are looking for a motivated member of staff to join our team to assist us to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children. Essential qualities - Experience of working with 3 to 11 year olds - Appropriate Level 2 qualification - Understanding the varied needs of children and their families - Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality play care - Understanding the issues of equal opportunities - Provide and facilitate safe and creative play - Good communication skills - Ability to work as a team member - Sound judgement and common sense Desirable qualities - Experience of working within a play-based setting - Full UK driving licence - Ability to work on own initiative - Appropriate child protection training -Paediatric First Aid Certificate - Food Hygiene Certificate Your job role would include dropping off and collecting children from Various schools.
