Nursery Assistant

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and stimulating environment for children in our nursery. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in implementing daily activities and ensuring the well-being of the children under your care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and organising age-appropriate activities for children
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety at all times
- Assist and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any specific needs or requirements
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities, including meals, naps, and milestones
- Support the implementation of educational programs and promote learning through play

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Childcare Level 2 requirement (Opportunity to obtain this during your employment)
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
