**Inventory Controller**

Newly Weds® Foods Ltd is seeking to recruit an Inventory Controller who is responsible for controlling, monitoring, and presenting operational inventory data, to ensure the Ossett site is optimised for manufacturing plans and available space, covering on site stock and external warehousing. The role will work very closely with the planning, manufacturing and warehouse teams, reporting stock status, ensuring inventory levels are accurate, efficient, fast moving and in line with Customer demand whilst making suggestions of corrective actions against any variances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and analyse slow-moving or redundant stocks, investigate opportunities for rework and implement improvement methods to prevent re-occurrence.
- Facilitate the weekly & monthly site cross functional meetings of WIP management and Inventory management for Raw material and Finished Goods.
- Plan & facilitate the monthly stock count.
- Investigate and resolve stock issues, identify and analyse Stock Adjustment transactions and investigate root cause of adjustment.
- Liaising with departmental Manager to ensure standard procedure is in place to eliminate the adjustment transaction.

**Skills required**:

- Previous experience in an FMCG industry, ideally food.
- Previous Inventory co-ordination experience.
- Be analytical, with a very good attention to detail and focused and have great planning abilities.
- Sound and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft IT packages and able to confidently manipulate and extrapolate data analysis sheets.
