Contract: Full-time, temporary contract
Duration: Until end of March 2023
Pay: Band 8B, £25.16-£32.66 per hour (around £53,000 - £68,000 per annum)
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Role and Responsibilities:

- Ensure Dental Division has efficient and effective finance systems and processes in place
- Financially advise the division required to maintain an income and expenditure balance
- Provide specialist knowledge on financial and accounting procedures
- Oversee production of monthly reports, monitor, and predict financial trends
- To lead on negotiations of divisional service level agreements
- Responsible for detailed development of financial aspects of business planning across the division
- To participate in management reviews, staff training and other project tasks required
- Develop and empower all members of the perform to high standards and innovate
- Essential to be Qualified Accountant or equivalent or qualified by significant NHS senior financial post experience
**Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant (CCAB or equivalent or qualified by significant NHS senior financial post experience within a highly complex environment)
- CPD registered
- High level of previous Financial Management experience at a senior level
- Previous Business Management experience at a senior level
- Team working experience
- Previous NHS experience ideally within a Foundation Trust
- Experience of multi-agency working
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to produce accurate information within tight deadlines
- Aware of organisations strategic direction
- Ability to use own initiative and demonstrates delegation skills
- IT skills (including Excel and financial ledger systems)
- Team working skills
- Knowledge of strategic policies within the health economy
