**Magnus Search are recruiting for experienced Hospital Porters for a number of hospitals around the East London area.**

**Duties**:

- Transport patients, medical equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital
- Assist with patient transfers between departments or to and from vehicles
- Deliver specimens and lab samples to the appropriate areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital corridors and public areas
- Collect and dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to hospital protocols
- Respond to requests for assistance from hospital staff in a timely manner
- Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of germs and diseases
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a porter or in a similar role required
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and push/pull equipment carts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
