Midland Expressway Limited are seeking a Business Administrator to join the Administration department. We are looking for a responsible Administrator to organise our company’s day-to-day operations.

This is a forward-facing role, acting as a greeter, organiser and information centre for the business. The role will also be to provide administrative support to our managers, colleagues and coordinate all daily administrative activities.

In this role, your tasks will include:
**Reception**
- To carry out reception duties, ensuring that all visitors are dealt with in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner
- To ensure that all incoming and internal phones calls are dealt with in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner
- To ensure that all deliveries are directed to the correct location and that all such deliveries are distributed in a prompt and efficient manner
- To manage all meeting rooms bookings, lunch and equipment requirements
- To follow all procedures in respect of telephone calls and visitors

**Administration**
- To provide administration assistance for all internal staff / departments as required
- To ensure all outgoing business post is franked and collected within the required timescale.
- To sort and distribute all incoming mail.
- Production of purchase requisitions for ordering suppliers from various suppliers
- To undertake stationery / office consumables stocktakes and ordering; distributing accordingly.
- To undertake refreshments stocktakes and ordering; distributing accordingly.
- To liaise with suppliers on a regular basis; including printers, stock and call out.
- Photocopying, printing, laminating.
- Update departmental procedures and ensure compliance with them.

You should be confident with a friendly personality, able to work well unsupervised and equally as part of a small team.

- Ability to work on own, or within a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£21,500.00 per year
