**HR Specialist**

**Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract**

**Location: Castle Bromwich**

**Division: Human Resources**

**£22.00 per Hour - Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate**

**The Opportunity**
- Our Client is looking for someone to provide exceptional customer service for absence, disciplinary and grievance cases to customers across several sites in the West Midlands.

**The role would suit someone who**:

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and deliver HR Case Management support, focused on the resolution of cases, to support the sites Operations team to meet strategic objectives of the area (attendance; engagement).
- Provide effective operational support for disciplinary actions, employee grievances, performance improvement and absence, including complex cases
- Support line managers to perform disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings, up to and including dismissal and appeal
- Work directly with other functions, where required, to support data reporting
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in the wider HR community and the business to ensure that service and process objectives are delivered efficiently
- Support process improvement projects for the Case Management team

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Able to work accurately and with close attention to detail
- Effective organisation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and support managers
- Able to prioritise workload
- Has a customer focussed mindset
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with autonomy
- Ability to deliver effective results, meeting deadlines and targets
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

**Desirable**:

- Experience of managing absence, ill health, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Experience in supporting the preparation of information for Employment Tribunals
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communicator - both written and verbal
- Able to use rational judgement, critical thinking and data analysis to inform decision making
