**We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to bring creativity and passion in raising the brand and profile of Adept Consulting Engineers. You will play a key role in coordinating business development activities, including event organisation and producing marketing materials.**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Organising company-hosted business events and liaising with clients for arranging meetings.
- Design materials required for events, including liaising with external companies for any printing requirements.
- Maintaining the external and internal Adept websites and assisting with content creation.
- Updating and creating marketing content including both graphical and copy for brochures, CVs, newsletters, social media etc.
- Formatting documents that reflect the brand.
- Maintaining digital marketing channels by coordinating and scheduling content for social media.
- Attending and recording actions from quarterly marketing meetings.
- Assisting the Bid and Marketing Coordinator with tenders, including completing selection questionnaires, compliance documents and proofing question responses.
- Assisting with creation of data and reporting.
- Checking daily sources for new tender opportunities.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.

**The Person**
- GCSE English and Maths Grade A to C or equivalent qualification
- Degree in Marketing or other related discipline and/or equivalent experience (Desirable)
- Experience of using design software, including Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience of using a variety of IT packages to a high standard, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to maintain, analyze and present information and data
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate own workload, managing own time and working to set deadlines
- Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Commitment to learning and continuing professional development
