Hgv Driver

**Title: HGV Driver / Class 1 Day Driver**

The Best Connection is a recruitment agency, and this position is being offered on a temporary basis.

We are looking for **Class 1 Driver in Heathfield** to assist our client, who specialises in **Pallet Deliveries. **Our client requires someone who is happy to pick up shifts with short notice to assist them when they are short staffed or have additional deliveries due to high trade.

You will be required to undertake Multi-Drop Deliveries in and around the South of England. Routes change daily to suit the needs of the business, applicants need to be flexible on routes, which may include Central London. You would be required to carry out vehicle checks before and after your shifts.

**Daily roles and responsibilities**:

- Multi -Drop Pallet Deliveries
- Able to use a pump truck.
- Pre and Post vehicle checks
- Good communication skills as customer facing.

**For this position you will need**:

- Right to work in the UK
- Digital Tacho Card
- CPC Card
- Previous Driving Experience (References will be required)
- Happy to pick up shifts at short notice.

**Please note**: Shifts are dependent on the clients needs on a week to week basis.
