**Description**

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced storesperson/forklift driver to join our clients team. As a storesperson/forklift driver, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have excellent organisational skills and experience operating forklifts, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, ensuring they match the purchase orders
- Store goods in designated locations, making sure they are appropriately labeled and organised
- Retrieve goods for delivery or production teams, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of orders
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment, reporting any issues to management
- Assist with inventory management, conducting stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimise workflows and ensure efficient operations

**Requirements**:

- Valid forklift license - Counterbalance
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift safe heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

This is a permanent position working 47.5 hours a week.

Other tasks in the business may be required including machine operating

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
