Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, guest services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our catering department.
**Duties**:
- Assist with food preparation
- Set up and arrange canteen facilities
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering areas before, during, and after events
- Provide exceptional guest services by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
