**Job Title: Data Analyst**
**Function: Customer Engagement**
**Location: Nottingham/Hybrid**
**Type: Fixed Term until 31^st July 2023**
**Salary: £28,000 - £35,000**
**Closing Date: Friday 17^th Feb 2023**
**What does a Data Analyst do at NHS Supply Chain?**:

- Attending customer meetings to support on data and systems related queries
- Gathering, verifying, and checking Home Delivery data to ensure it meets IT requirements to support successful account implementation
- Data requirements include ensuring all the products are set up, delivery matrix/cycles established, patient details are correct and financial information is provided
- Will involve good stakeholder engagement skills as liaising with suppliers, customers and IT technical architects is essential
- Knowledge of GDPR assurance requirements
- Support the ASM’s with development / enhancement and preparation of the quarterly business review pack
- To provide analysis, validation and technical support on business opportunities and opportunity assessments
- To assist in benchmarking and planning activities providing better fact-based understanding of the relationships between key business objectives
- Be an expert in the capture, validation and analysis of data using tools such as Excel, Access & PowerPoint
- Ensure quality standards and accuracy of data capture are robust for decision making purposes
- Develop statistics and metrics to monitor and drive performance improvements
- Accuracy of analysis and modelling
- Value adding resource with increased efficiencies within the home delivery service(HDS) operation particularly with Customer Services.
- Work around recovering lost revenue occurring through failed transactions.
- Managing HDS development schedules.
- Supporting Ecomms strategic programme.

**What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?**:

- Experience building strong working relationships with customers
- Experience of general analytical experience involving complex data sets
- Practical knowledge and experience of working with large datasets and complex analytics
- Practical knowledge and experience of working with relational databases
- Experience presenting and summarising findings of analytical investigations to senior audiences
- Significant experience using Microsoft Office platform including VBA.
