We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced administrator to work within the Central area Continuing Health Care Team. The post holder will provide full administrative support, to act as first point of contact for all referrals/enquiries to the CHC Team. To manage diaries resolving conflicting diary appointments, organize meetings, prepare meeting papers and take minutes of meetings, to source and provide information when required, to include report collation. Ensure that all communications with members of the public, staff and any other agency are handled confidentiality and professionally, in order to aid the delivery of a high quality service. Demonstrate excellent and advanced communication skills on confidential issues such as disputes or complaints, when dealing with telephone calls/correspondence from members of the public, Health Professionals, Local Authorities and non - NHS organizations.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
To assist the CHC Team Administrator in all aspect of administration relating to NHS Continuing Health Care (CHC), Funded Registered Nursing Care (FNC) discharge from hospital and delayed transfers of care and any schemes associated with CHC/CHC bids.
Act as first point of contact for all referrals/enquiries to the CHC Team
Take telephone messages in the absence of the CHC Team and if necessary signpost the caller to the correct person who can help with their query.
Produce reports for the team and CHC Team Managers when required.
To maintain and manage electronic diaries for CHC Operational Manager, Team Manager and Nurse Reviewers.
