**About the Warehouse Supervisor Role and what will be your main focus**:

- At the forefront of the role will be continuous focus on operations performance ensuring delivery of agreed tasks.
- You will use your experience within a fast-paced industry and flexibility to meet the needs of the business with the ability to meet deadlines.
- In collaboration with the wider Operational Management team, provide an outstanding service that meets our customer commitments and where possible exceeds customer’s expectations.
- Pro-actively identify continuous improvement opportunities for review by the wider management team, with a focus on improvement to work profile efficiency and process improvement that reduces operational inefficiencies and improves pick and pack output.
- Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, production and operational standards and procedures are adhered to

**Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor**:

- To supervise the day-to-day performance and effectiveness of the warehouse team
- Be first point of contact for your direct reports and lead by example
- Responsible for inducting new staff and ensuring their competency and confidence in the role.
- Hold regular staff catch ups, maintain a communication culture within the team that develops two-way feedback and ensures open communication on a regular basis and at all levels.
- To oversee any staffing issues ensuring these are accurately dealt with and if necessary, escalated to Senior Supervisor
- To oversee the agency staff relationship including costs and daily manning requirements
- To oversee Health and Safety and adhere to all H&S policies and procedures and to escalate any issues that may arise to the H&S Manager
- To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high quality standard.
- To oversee signing off on completion of all products to ensure quality is being maintained at the highest levels across the whole process and addressing any issues that arise
- Key holder responsibility including unlocking and locking work premises

**Person Specification and Essential Skills**
- Have good people skills and friendly and approachable personality, and the ability to get the best out of people.
- Numerate, articulate and logical thinking.
- Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision
- Excellent communications skills.
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and ability to work within required standards.
- Team player, with good leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others.
- Pro-active approach is a must to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration
- Show a desire to learn & develop yourself as well as your team.

**Advantageous Skills Include**
- Proven experience of performance & change management.
- Proven track record in warehouse management.

**Hours**:
The working hours are 40 hours per week, working08:30 to 17:30**, Sunday to Thursday,** with an hour lunch
