Extrusion Operator

**Job Title: Extrusion Operator**

**Location: Houghton Le Spring**

**Pay rate: £11.50**

**Shift: 12 hour, 4 days on 4 days off - 7am - 7pm**

We are looking for Extrusion Technicians to join our clients team.

**Duties and responsibilities as an Extrusion Operator**:

- Load and unload Bags on Hoppers
- Complete Safety checks, complete hygiene checks & complete filter checks online
- Complete Quality Checks I.e. Visual, slip Test, Gauge checks and Width check on retained samples
- Remove Reels from Machine
- Strap, Label and wrap pallets (wrapping/strapping)
- Remove reels to Storage area
- Change re-work bags / flake bags

**Skills and experience required as an Extrusion Operator**:

- Hands on experience working with extrusion machinery
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Houghton le Spring: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: One location
