Maintenance Fitter

We are seeking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Nightshift Maintenance Fitter to support our Operations team & maintain structure within the maintenance department.

**Responsibilities**

Reacting to breakdowns to minimise down time.

Structure PPM / Service plans on Daily / weekly / monthly schedule.

Conducting & improving PPM / Service work on lines that are not running to eliminate down time.

Filling in any relevant paperwork, keeping the workshop and tools clean.

Working on a wide range of machinery from conveyors, modular belts, pumps, hydraulic box tipper’s electrical motors, form fill packing machines and much more.

Conducting light fabrication work such as welding, changing bearings, replacing motors and gearboxes.

Light fabrication work, welding, changing bearings on rollers, replacing motors and gearboxes.

**CORE CAPABILITIES**

Must have excellent attention to detail

Good basic IT skills, must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel

Good communication abilities at all levels

The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines

Good multi-tasking skills

Able to work on own initiative and part of a team

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

Basic electrical qualification desirable

Knowledge of manufacturing business

Maintenance experience

Good standard of English and Maths

Adaptable and open to experience potential new workplace situations

**TRAINING**

Continuous support with personal development and training opportunities available

**WORKING HOURS**

Monday to Thursday, 12 hour shifts 6pm to 6am
